Nice concept there. How long you been up on the net? I was actually looking for some baseball recipies and stummbled onto your site. How do you go about getting a baseball? I live in Atlanta. Love the idea that you are promoting Maris. So he's my vote. And thought I'd express my opinion about the Americal League. You don't need no stinking Designated hitter. That sucks. The National Leauge does it the right way by letting the pitcher hit. By the way who was the best hitting pitcher ever?

I recall going to a Mariners game in the late 70's like '78 and so many pyro-thechnics went off after a home run that the complete dome just filled uo with blue smoke. We all had to be evacuated. The dome sucked but in a way it rocked! What a sh%# hole that place was. A lot of fond memories there.

On July 3, 1978 I went to a Dodger game and I seem to recall that engine fire in the parking lot that BJ wrote about. Was that a VW Rabbit? Everyone was jazzed about that fire. I also recall going to a game at Chavez Ravene in the early 60's like around '63-'64 and Willie Mays hit a homer in the left center bleachers and I'll never forget how that ball richocheted all over the place. The ball actually rolled under my seat (bleacher seating) and was there ever a mini-riot trying to recover that ball. Ah the memories.

We watch them Yanks cause yankees is baseball. Ratings are good when they are on. It is what it is. Go San Fran. My vote is still Ruth.
